This is Simplified Joy, a company birthed through my many early mornings of prayer and Bible study, overwhelmed and overtired, looking to God for guidance and solutions for my overworked life.

I was doing all of the right things. I’ve got a great husband, 4 wonderful children in a beautiful blended family, a heart for my clients, my work, my church. My life was full. However, I wasn’t at peace. I wasn’t content.

The problem was, my life was TOO full. Because I realized I thought my true worth was measured by my accomplishments.

I’d been believing for a very long time. Can you relate?

My attitude was to build and grow my company at all costs while I simultaneously juggle the balls of being a good spouse, parent, daughter, church attendee, friend, volunteer. After all, anything is possible, right? Can’t we women HAVE IT ALL?

I was having it all…while I grumbled, cried and complained all along the way!

I ran to God and He showed me where I was going wrong, and illuminated scripture right off the page to show us his will and promises for us as His chosen daughters. And his will is really, really good news. News that will have you breathing easier, girlfriend!

As a survivor of a multi-year high conflict divorce and child custody battle, and many difficult co-parenting years since, I have the experience (along with a few scars) to help other women navigate the challenges of single parenting with clarity, confidence and faith.
